President's Message

Summer swells, concerts and picnics are some of the stuff this local boy needs to keep sane. Anita and Kathy have planned an variety of activities for the membership ranging from new places to visit and experience (Tennis/BBQ at the Central Oahu Regional Park and Hanauma Bay At Night) to the always enjoyable Pau Hana at Kapono’s and the Concerts at the Zoo.  The Trip Committee needs your help in returning your sign up sheet for the 2006 Ski Week ASAP in order to better plan our trip.  Much Mahalos to Honey for all the work she has done in keeping our Club Hotline current. Her cheerful voice will be missed.  At our last Board meeting we have decided to move up our selection of next year’s Ski Week Trip to the Post Ski Week Party/February General Membership Meeting. This will enable the Trip Committee to better plan and negotiate Ski Week 2007 more efficiently.

Aloha and I hope to see you at our upcoming activities.

To all tennis enthusiasts and soon to be: We're having a tennis picnic on Sunday, September 25th, 2:00-6:00pm at the "CORP" (Central Oahu Regional Park) in Waipio. We will have the use of 4 courts for 4 hours, uninterrupted! There will be a tennis clinic on the 1st hour which will be at 2pm, given by one of the tennis pros.
