President's Message
The helicopters waiting, it's time to leave the white house, they won't have Brodie to kick around any more. HUH? What? Oh, it's only a bad dream.(phrew) I know it's time for some one else to take over when I have
dreams like that. Oh but seriously, I have enjoyed my time as a leader of the Ski Association of Hawaii.
I have wonderful memories and many people to thank for lots of good times. I hope more of you take a turn
on the club's board. It's definitly worth the time. Remember, if you feel things should be done a certain
way, get on the board and make it happen. I plan on helping the new board get settled in. I'm sure you will do the same. Now it's time to look down the newsletter.
You'll see the actiivites just keep on coming. Read it closely or check the hot line, I don't want anyone to miss out on the fun.See you all soon,
Aloha Brodie

Elections
Nominations and Elections for New Board Members
Well, it's that time of year folks. The Ski Association is looking for a few good men and women to volunteer their time to serve on the board to assist with planning social and recreational activities for our members. We
want to extend our thanks to Michael Cloe, Geoff Chu, Darrell Large, Wanda Sagum, Renee and Paul Ferguson for offering to join the board, share their enthusiasm and offer refreshing, new ideas. Many thanks also go out to Wanda Sowell, Craig Shaffer and Bill Rothe for offering to continue their support and maintain their status on the board. Wanda keeps our books balanced, Craig records our events (in great detail I might add) and Bill always manages to create a new idea for mischief and jumps in to help whenever asked. Bill Rothe may, however, decline from serving if another member steps up to help. Honey Ruppel has been managing our hot line by recording our monthly activities and monitoring the messages. We hope that she will offer her help as her bubbly personality is always recognized whether on the telephone or in person.
Sadly, we will be losing the creative talents of Omer Poirier, DaveBroederdorf, Chris and Marilyn Harris and Amy Bosich. However, you will continue to see their faces at our events and of course, will lend a hand,
to the new board whenever assistance is needed. Michele Hebert has relocated to the mainlaind to try our her nursing skills in Savannah, Georgia. We wish her success in all of her professional endeavors. I know that Toby Kravit is considering helping as well as he will be retiring from the State of Hawaii this upcoming December (Congrats Toby!). Please folks, let's thank and support each and every one of our members for their collective efforts in keeping this ski club active for so many years!!!

Nominations will be accepted through March 26 by contacting a Board Member or calling the Hot line at 545-SNOW.

GENERAL MEETING - ELECTIONS: March 20, 6 pm Waikiki Y.C.
A general meeting will be held at the Waikiki Yacht Club on Saturday March 20th at 6pm. The Yacht Club is providing food and charging $5 per person. As always, a no host bar will be availabile. Please take a moment to come and support the club and all those who continue to make it possible.

Pre-St. Pat's Pau Hana- 5:30 Friday Mar. 12th, O'Toole's Irish Pub
O'Toole's Irish Pub
(Nuuanu Ave, across from Murphy's)
We doubt they'll be serving any green beer from the tap yet...but you can certainly don your festive Irish clothing and start the celebration early!

Ski Trip 2005
I know it seems early as this year's season is still upon us, but pre-planning and accepted bids for the 2005 season begins in June. Therefore, we will need to make a group decision by April. The sound of Vail continues to beckon but we're of course open to all suggestions. If you have a place that you would like people to consider send your suggestion and any comments you would like to make about it and we will get it in the April Newsletter
Anyone considering Europe or a 2nd trip for 2005? The final vote will occur on April 16th at the Elks Club. Stay tuned for more details in April Newsletter.

PS Amy has just received the copies of the group shot from Snowmass and will be mailing out to those this week.
